 Set before we had a Wrath. Beth quietly walked into the library and looked around. Sighing as she found it empty and was kind of glad she had. She walked over to one the chairs and sat down in it. And picked Boo up when he came in and meowed at her. She pulled him close and buried her face in his fur as closed her eyes as she fought not to cry. She was kind of glad that none of the brothers where around tonight. The last thing she needed was for them to see her crying or upset. She had stopped by Mary's room but Mary was not home at the moment. Then she had called called Jane but she had been up at Rhevenge's house treating one the chosen for a burn or something so she had just left her a message. She just hoped one of them got it because she really needed someone to talk to.
She thought about to about an hour ago when she was upstairs she had been getting ready to go into Wrath's office when she had over head him taking to V about not wanting to have another child. That he didn't want to have a child with her. Beth over hearing this walked into his office and demeaned to know what he was talking about and that had lead to a huge fight with Wrath were he told her in no uncertain terms that he never wanted a child with her. They had never had a fight like this before. And she didn't know what to do about it. She knew when they had gotten married that he had told her he didn't want kids but then when he almost died he had told her he wished she had, had a chance to have his child so she would always have a piece of him with her.
So she kind of thought that he had changed him mind. Boy had she been wrong about that. And she had just found out in the worst way possible that she had been wrong. She wanted a child so bad. A piece of her and Wrath in one little person but he had made it clear that he didn't want that at all. She couldn't help but thinking that there was something wrong with her and that is why he didn't want a child with her. He already had a child with another women but he didn't want one with her. What was so wrong with she thought as she finally let the tears fall.

Jane felt her cell phone buzz in her pocket but unfortunately was unable
to get to it at the moment, whoever it was she hoped that they weren't
calling about a life or death type of situation. With the thought hanging
on the edge of her mind she turned her focus back onto her patient in front
of her. One of the chosen, Ehlsa, had an unfortunate accident when she had
tried to make herself something to eat. The burn on her arm wasn't too bad,
but the urgency and concern in Rehvenge's voice was enough to get her up
there. Horrendous burn or not she would have showed up. Reaching forward
she placed some cream gently on the wound then reached forward for the gauze
pad but soon found it in her hand as he had handed it to her. The corner of her
lips turned up in a smile, "Thank you". He gave a quick nod of his head.
"Alright Ehlsa, the burn wasn't a bad one but I still put a wrap on it to help with
the healing", her hand rested next to the gauze wrapping that was wrapped around
the gauze that she had placed over the wound. "You will need to be careful not to get
it wet and you should be able to take it off in a week. Any concerns don't be afraid to
give me a call". Jane gave the Chosen a reassuring smile then turned towards Rehvenge
"Thanks Doc, I owe you one". She smile, lifting a hand and shaking her head, "Don't
worry about it. It is what I do. You guys take care". After giving him a pat on the arm
she began walking away, the buzz of her cell again reminded her of the message that she
had missed. Pulling it from her lab coat she hit the menu button and put it to her ear, Beth's
voice was what greeted her. Scrunching her brow in confusion she put the phone back into
her lab pocket and focused on the mansion.
Her feet landed in the great hall of the room, no one was in sight which was typical for a
night like tonight. When she had left Vishous had told her that they were going out hunting
for Lessers; the Brothers were gone. She headed towards the staircase, knowing that Beth
had to be up there somewhere. Her feet took her towards the direction of the Library and
there she was with Boo clutched to her chest. As she stepped closer towards them she
saw the tears upon her face and she quickly came to her side. "Beth, I got your message.
Sorry it took me a bit to get here. Is everything alright"? |

Beth looked up when she heard Jane asked her if she was alright with tears in her eyes. "No I don't think I am." She said being honest with Jane as she ran a hand through Boo's fur. She sighed as she thought about her and Wrath's fight. "I was walking by the study a little while ago when I over heard V and Wrath talking. I know I shouldn't have listened but when I heard my name I stopped. They were arguing about something." She said not sure if she should be telling Jane this or not, but she knew she had to talk to someone about it. "I heard Wrath say he didn't want any more child, that he didn't have to have a child with me." She said as she ran a hand through her hair and let out a huge sigh. "I gasped as I heard him. V took off like a bat out of hell when I walked into the room. And then Wrath and I got into a huge fight. I even through Rhaine in his face." She said angry at herself for doing that. "I mean he can have a child with someone else but he won't have a child with me his own wife." She said bitterly. Again feeling bad for bringing Rhaine into this. "Just what am I suppose to do. You know how much I want a child. How much I want to have his child." She said as she pulled Boo close to her again.
